Women’s Basketball passes 6,000 season tickets sold

The Longhorns have set a record for season tickets sold going into the 2025-26 season.
AUSTIN, Texas — Texas women's basketball announced today that they have sold over 6,000 season tickets for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
That number is a program record for season tickets sold and continues the upward trajectory of support for the team. The Longhorns ranked 11th among all NCAA Division I women's basketball programs in average attendance for the 2024-25 season at 7,836 per game.
"I am very appreciative of the support from our fans," Texas head coach Vic Schaefer said. "We play in Moody Center and our fans provide the best atmosphere in the country when that place is packed. This team will be fun to watch and they will always play their heart out."
Texas went 17-0 at home during the 2024-25 season and have won 24 straight games at home. The Longhorns are 49-5 in three seasons at Moody Center.
"We truly felt the power of the Texas family behind us last season," sophomore Jordan Lee said. "The atmosphere on gameday made all the difference. Our fans helped us push through tough moments, celebrate big wins and chase something bigger than ourselves."
The 6,000 season tickets sold includes over 2,000 new season ticket holders.
Season tickets are still available for purchase for the 2025-26 Texas women's basketball season and can be purchased here. The regular season includes 18 home games at Moody Center and season tickets are $100 dollars.
The Longhorns are coming off a historic season in 2024-25 as they won 35 games to set a program record for wins in the NCAA Era. Texas advanced to the Final Four for the first time in 22 years and won the SEC regular season championship in their first season in the league. Madison Booker was named the SEC Player of the Year and an Associated Press First Team All-American. Booker won the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year award for the second straight season. Rori Harmon and Taylor Jones earned WBCA All-America honorable mention honors and Jordan Lee earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.
