No. 4 Women's basketball picks up 88-68 road win at Florida

Longhorns win 20th game of the season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 4 Texas Women's Basketball team forced 21 turnovers and scored 60 points in the paint as they secured an 88-68 win at Florida on Thursday.
Madison Booker led Texas (20-2, 5-2) with 24 points on 11-of-21 shooting and added six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
After falling behind 6-2 the Longhorns used a 14-2 run and went up 16-8 on a pair of free-throws by Madison Booker. Aaliyah Crump scored in double figures for the sixth time in seven games with 14 points, including knocking down 3-of-4 on 3-pointers. Kyla Oldacre scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Longhorns.
Florida responded with an 11-0 run to take a 19-16 lead at the end of the first period, but the Longhorns again showed resilience and scored 10 of the first 12 points of the second quarter to take a 26-21 lead on an Ashton Judd jump shot.
With Booker leading the way with 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting in the first half the Longhorns took a 42-31 lead into the halftime break.
Aaliyah Crump knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and led Texas with seven points in the third quarter. Harmon connected on two free-throws to put the Longhorns up 67-53 going into the fourth quarter.
Texas started the fourth quarter with an 11-2 run and a Booker steal and breakaway layup put the Longhorns up 78-55 and led to a Florida timeout.
The Longhorns host No. 10 Oklahoma on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 2:00 p.m. CT at Moody Center. That game will be televised on ABC. College GameDay will have their show live from Austin at 11:00 a.m. CT inside Moody Center.

· Texas improved to 20-2 on the season and 5-2 in SEC play.
· The Longhorns held a 60-30 advantage in point in the paint.
· Texas forced 21 Florida turnovers and held a 26-13 advantage in points off turnovers.
· Madison Booker recorded 20 or more points for the ninth time this season and the 37th time in her career.
· The Longhorns had eight players scored six or more points in the game.
· Rori Harmon recorded two steals and is now five steals away from breaking the Texas all-time steals record. She has 342 for her career.
· Harmon had the primary defensive assignment on Liv McGill of Florida and forced her into nine turnovers.
· Harmon tallied five assists to move her career number to 883, which is now 107 more than the previous record of 776.
· Texas shot 37-of-66 (56.1 percent) from the field. It's the 10th time they have shot 50 percent or better in a game this season.
· Texas head coach Vic Schaefer has now won 20 or more games in 13 straight seasons as a head coach.
