No. 4 Women’s Basketball takes down Arkansas, 93-62

Longhorns make a season-high 10, 3-point field goals in the game.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 4 Texas Women's Basketball team forced 20 turnovers and limited themselves to nine turnovers in a 93-62 victory on Thursday at Bud Walton Arena.
The victory for Texas (25-3, 10-3) marks the 11th season head coach Vic Schaefer has guided a team to 25 or more wins in a season.
Madison Booker led the Longhorns with 21 points. Kyla Oldacre posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds and added a career-high six steals. Aaliyah Crump scored 16 points, Ashton Judd tallied 13 points and Jordan Lee reached double figures with 11 points. Rori Harmon guided the Texas offense with seven assists and no turnovers.
The Longhorns started with an 8-0 run with Booker scoring six of the eight points. Texas held Arkansas scoreless until the 5:41 mark of the first quarter and without a field goal until 35 seconds left in the opening period. Texas led the game 18-9 after the first quarter.
Booker connected on back-to-back 3-pointers in the second period to put Texas in front 28-19. Texas used a 12-0 run to widen the gap in the second quarter with an Ashton Judd 3-pointer putting Texas up 45-23. The Longhorns took a 47-27 lead into the halftime break.
Texas continued their strong shooting from 3-point range in the second half. Harmon knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to put Texas up 58-36 at the 5:40 mark of the third quarter.
Jordan Lee made the Longhorns 10th 3-pointer of the game with 6:30 to play in the fourth quarter to put Texas up 81-50 and the Longhorns secured the 93-62 victory.
Up next Texas will host Mississippi State on Sunday, February 22 with a 1:00 PM CT tip on SEC Network. The Longhorns will honor their seniors following the game and welcome back alumni, including the 1986 national championship team on their 40th anniversary.
