The Longhorns qualified 14 swimmers across 32 individual events following their second-consecutive SEC Championship.
ATLANTA, Ga. — No. 3 Texas Women's Swimming and Diving will travel to Atlanta, Georgia, for the 2026 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, scheduled for March 18-21 at McAuley Aquatic Center. The Longhorns enter the national meet following their second-consecutive SEC Championship and will be represented by 14 swimmers competing across 32 individual events.
Texas head coach Carol Capitani is in her 14th season leading the Longhorns program. She has guided Texas to 14 consecutive conference titles from 2013-26 and top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships in 11 of the past 12 meets. Capitani has also led Texas to top-three finishes in each of the last five seasons.
The Longhorns have finished in the top three at the NCAA Championships each of the past five years, including runner-up finishes in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and third-place finishes in 2021 and 2025. Texas has won nine national championships in program history, including AIAW titles in 1981 and 1982 and NCAA team titles in 1984-88, 1990 and 1991.
