Women's Golf's O’Keefe named to U.S. Curtis Cup team

O’Keefe is one of the first four players selected to the eight-player team.
AUSTIN, Texas — Farah O'Keefe was one of four players selected to the U.S. team for the Curtis Cup, the USGA announced.
The Curtis Cup is one of the most prestigious team trophies for women's amateur golfers and is contested biennially by teams representing Great Britain and Ireland and the United States. It will be contested June 12-14 at Bel Air Country Club in Los Angeles.
O'Keefe was selected based on her No. 4 ranking on the World Amateur Golf Ranking list. Joining O'Keefe are Kiara Romero, Anna Davis, and Asterisk Talley. The remaining four spots will be filled after NCAA regional play next month.
O'Keefe has won three tournament this season for Texas and has finished in the top-10 in each of her nine tournaments in the 2025-26 season. Seven of those nine tournament she has finished in the top-five. O'Keefe played in the Augusta National Women's Amateur and finished T15. O'Keefe is on the watch list for the ANNIKA Award, which goes to the top player in women's collegiate golf. O'Keefe earned a spot on the final 10 for the ANNIKA Award following the 2024-25 season. O'Keefe has earned All-America honors in each of her first two season with Texas women's golf.
First played in 1932, many well-known players have competed, including two-time winning Solheim Cup captain Catriona Matthew, Dame Laura Davies and AIG Women's Open Champion Georgia Hall. The format is three foursomes and three fourball matches on each of the first two days, and eight singles matches on the final day.
