Fans, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to nominate deserving veterans through Sunday, July 19.
Texas Athletics and the University of Texas' Veteran and Military Affiliated Services (VMAS) are now accepting nominations for the 2026 Texas Football Veteran of the Game program, presented by the Texas Lottery.
The Texas Lottery Veteran of the Game program honors outstanding veterans who have honorably served our nation, maintain a connection to The University of Texas at Austin, and continue to make a meaningful impact in their communities following their military service.

Veteran of the Game Nomination Form
Nominees must meet the definition of a veteran and have a connection to The University of Texas at Austin. Due to the number of nominations received and the limited number of gameday recognition opportunities, submission of a nomination does not guarantee selection.
