Track & Field earns 32 USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

Both men’s and women’s programs recognized with All-Academic Team awards.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Track & Field had 32 student-athletes earn U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors, the organization announced Monday. Both the men's and women's programs also received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition.
The Longhorn women had 17 student-athletes earn individual honors, while the men's team had 15 recipients. To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25, complete at least two semesters or three quarters at their institution and meet the organization's competitive standards during the indoor or outdoor season.
The Texas men's team posted a 3.35 cumulative team GPA, while the women's program recorded a 3.59 GPA to earn All-Academic Team honors. Team recognition is awarded to programs that maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
