New 3D map connects fans with stadium amenities and Fan Journey Tracks, with step-by-step wayfinding capabilities coming soon
Texas Athletics is introducing a new interactive mapping experience at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, giving Longhorn fans a smarter, more intuitive way to explore and navigate Texas Football gamedays.
Powered by Mappedin, the new interactive 3D map allows fans to locate seating areas, concessions, restrooms, first aid, water stations, gates, Fan Services and other important stadium destinations directly from their mobile device. Fans can find it by downloading the Texas Longhorns app pres. by Huntington Bank (Apple or Google Play) OR by viewing online at TexasLonghorns.com/DKRmap.
But the map is designed to do more than replace the traditional stadium map.
Texas Football gamedays extend well beyond the stadium gates, with signature pregame destinations including Bevo Blvd pres. by H-E-B, Longhorn City Limits pres. by Hollister, Smokey's Midway pres. by Conecuh Sausage, Big Bertha's Bazaar and Hook `Em Hangout. The new mapping platform brings those destinations together in one digital experience and adds a new layer to the recently launched Texas Football Fan Journeys program.
For the 2026 season, Fan Journeys features three suggested Fan Tracks, Families, Essentials and Explorers, designed to help fans discover destinations, activities and traditions that may best fit the gameday they want to have. Now, fans can see exactly where those recommendations are located.
As the platform evolves, step-by-step wayfinding will allow fans to move from discovering something they want to do to navigating directly there.
The Fan Journeys program answers, "What should I experience?" The interactive map answers, "Where is it?" And upcoming wayfinding features will answer, "How do I get there?"
We can't wait for Longhorn Nation to use our new interactive map beginning with this week's season opener versus Texas State," said Drew Martin, Deputy Athletics Director. "There is so much that makes gameday so special, and our goal is to make it even easier for fans to discover and navigate. By connecting Fan Journeys, an interactive 3D map and eventually step-by-step wayfinding, we're creating a more intuitive way for fans to explore DKR and everything surrounding it. This is just the beginning of what we believe can become an incredibly powerful tool for the Texas gameday.
The interactive map will continue to evolve throughout the season. As Texas Athletics gathers feedback and learns how fans use the platform on gamedays, locations, routing and other functionality will continue to be refined and improved.
