Saw action in 12 games as an offensive lineman or tight end, including one start against Texas Tech ... second-team Academic All-Big 12 selection ... caught a three-yard touchdown pass at Baylor for his first career catch and touchdown ... helped the Texas offense rank 21st in the nation in rushing offense (202.62 ypg) and average 392.54 yards in total offense ... helped lead the team to 557 yards of total offense with 201 rushing and 356 passing against Baylor ... contributed to a 441-yard rushing-yard performance against Kansas as the offense finished with 590 total yards in the game ... guided the offense to 439 rushing yards and 595 total yards against Texas Tech.
SOPHOMORE (2010)
Appeared in two games on the offensive line and on special teams ... suffered a season-ending knee injury in the second game of the season ... helped the offense gain 369 yards of total offense, including 197 on the ground, at Rice ... blocked for offense that racked up 389 yards of total offense, including 222 through the air, versus Wyoming.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2009)
Appeared in all 14 games ... helped Texas average 39.3 points (third in FBS), 421.2 total yards (29th in the FBS) and 273.6 passing yards (22nd in FBS) ... cleared the way for 562 total yards, including 363 passing, against ULM ... blocked for 544 yards of total offense, including 353 passing, against Wyoming ... cleared the way for the sixth-highest total offense tally in school history with 639 yards versus UTEP ... it marked just the second time in school history that UT posted over 300 yards rushing and passing in the same game ... helped Texas put up 38 points and 313 yards against Colorado ... cleared the way for 285 yards and 35 points in the first half and 400 yards for the game at Missouri ... posted 275 yards on just 56 plays at Oklahoma State ... helped UT post 317 yards and three TDs en route to a 40-0 halftime lead at Baylor ... paved the way for UT to post 51 points and 537 total yards versus Kansas ... redshirted in 2008.
