A three-year offensive tackle who played in 31 games with 23 starts (nine at LT/14 at RT) … had to retire at the end of the 2013 season due to chronic shoulder injury ... had started the last 19 games before sitting out of the Kansas State game (Sept. 21, 2013) due to a shoulder injury ... named first-team Freshman All-America by Yahoo! JUNIOR (2013)
Saw action in sixgames ... started at right tackle in the first three games before suffering a shoulder injury ... helped the offense rank 36th nationally in rushing (196.2 yards per game) and aided the offensive line in surrendering just 16 sacks (1.3 pg) which ranked tied for 17th fewest in the FBS ... helped the Longhorns set a school record with 715 total yards, including 359 on the ground and 356 in the air against New Mexico State ...
