• Defeated UTSA’s Eric Buchalter (6-0, 6-1) in Texas’ 4-0 win in the second match of a doubleheader against the Roadrunners
• Notched a victory over Carlos Bautista (6-4, 7-6[5]) in the Longhorns’ 4-2 win over Tulsa
• Defeated Santiago Munoz (6-1, 6-0) in a dual meet against Arkansas
• Was instrumental in Texas’ 4-3 win at San Diego by defeating Filip Vittek (7-6[2], 6-3)
• Finished off Louisiana-Lafayette’s Jake Wynan (6-2, 6-4) in Texas’ 4-0 win at the H-E-B Tournament of Champions

• Defeated Michigan State’s John Patrick Mullane (6-3, 6-0) at No. 4 singles in UT’s 7-0 sweep of the Spartans
• Knocked off Rice’s Gustavo Gonzalez (7-6 [5], 6-3) at sixth singles in the Longhorns’ 6-1 victory over the Owls
• Defeated Arkansas’ David Herrerias (6-2, 6-3) at No. 6 singles in UT’s 5-2 win over the Razorbacks
• Took down Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Wilks Kothmann (6-2, 6-1) and Arkansas’ William Albanese (6-3, 6-1) at the UT Invitational
BEFORE TEXAS
• Raised in Ensenada, Mexico while competing at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California.
• Ranked as high as No. 119 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior rankings.
• Made quarterfinal appearances in both the 2013 Canadian Open Junior Championships and the 2013 International Junior Tournament of Offenbach (Germany).
• Features quality wins against some of the best junior players in the world, including No. 25 Young Seok Kim and No. 13 Danlil Medvedev.
