AS A SENIOR (2016-2017)
- • Helped UT to a 4-2 win over Oregon in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend event with his win at No. 2 singles over Simon Stevens (5-7, 6-3, 6-4)
- • Defeated Tulsa’s Dominic Bechard (6-4, 2-6, 6-2) in UT’s 4-3 loss to the Golden Hurricane
- • Helped Texas to a 7-0 win over UTSA by way of his 6-3, 6-1 win over Takeru Watanabe
AS A JUNIOR (2015-16)
• Posted a 7-6(0), 6-3 victory over #45 Julian Cash of Oklahoma State to lead Texas to a 4-0 win.
• Defeated #25 Mike Redlicki (6-2, 7-6[6]) of Arkansas in singles play
• Aided Texas in the 4-0 win over Southern Mississippi after defeating Wen-Po Tseng (6-1, 6-1) in the championship match of the H-E-B Tournament of Champions
• Knocked off UTSA’s Diogo Casa (6-0, 6-4) at the H-E-B Tournament of Champions
• Posted a win over #19 Petros Chrysochos of Wake Forest (6-2, 5-7, 7-6[5]) in Texas’ 4-3 win over the Demon Deacons
• Defeated UC Santa Barbara’s Morgan Mays (6-4, 6-3) in Texas’ 6-1 win in Seattle, Wash.
• Helped Texas to a 6-1 win over Santa Barbara after notching a win against Morgan Mays (6-4, 6-3)
• Aided Texas in the 7-0 win over Abilene Christian University after defeating Josh Sheehy (6-1, 3-6, 1-0 [10-6])
• Helped Texas in the 6-1 decision over Lamar after posting a win over Michael Feucht (4-6, 7-6[3], 1-0[10-4])
• Knocked off Incarnate Word’s Tucker Brown (6-0, 6-3) at the Texas Regional Championship
• Defeated Brigham Young’s Shane Monroe (6-4, 6-4) at the ITA All-America Championships
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15)
• Posted a 17-10 record in singles and 15-12 record in doubles … went 9-4 in tournament action and 8-6 in dual match competition … completed seven matches at No. 4 singles (2-5) and 14 matches at No. 2 doubles (8-6) with Adrien Berkowicz.
• Seven of his singles matches during dual match play went unfinished.
• Defeated Texas Tech’s 114th-ranked Jolan Cailleau (April 24).
• Posted a 2-0 singles record in the NCAA team tournament, defeating Navy's Blake Daniel (6-0, 6-0) and 7th-ranked Georgia's Ben Wagland (6-3, 6-4).
2013-14 (FRESHMAN)
• Named the ITA Texas Region Rookie Player of the Year after posting overall records of 26-16 in singles and 18-12 in doubles … featured six singles wins over ranked opponents.
• Advanced to the ITA All-American Championship singles quarterfinals in Tulsa … defeated then-No. 1 Mikelis Libietis (Tennessee) in the round of 32 on Oct. 3.
• Played 14 matches at No. 3 singles (5-9) and 10 matches at No. 4 singles (6-4) … 13 of his 30 doubles matches were played with Adrien Berkowicz (8-5).
• Began the season ranked No. 8 in the Preseason ITA Newcomers / Freshmen Rankings.
• Posted an 11-2 record in his first 13 singles matches as a Longhorn.
• Finished the season ranked No. 102 in singles … highest singles ranking of the season was No. 24 on Jan. 2 … held a national doubles ranking with Jacoby Lewis for four weeks, including a No. 27 ranking on Feb. 11.
• Advanced to the doubles semifinals of the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships with Jacoby Lewis (Oct. 19-22).
BEFORE TEXAS
• Ranked as high as the No. 2 prospect in the class of 2013, according to the Tennis Recruiting Network.
• Named the Southern California Tennis Association Player of the Year in 2012.
• Won the USTA National Winter Championships Boys' 18 singles event in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Jan. 2, 2013 … was the top seed in the field of 128, defeated No. 7 seed David Hsu in three sets (2-6, 6-0, 6-3) in the finals … became the first Longhorn signee to win the Winter Championships since Travis Helgeson won it in 2004.
• Maintained a 20-match winning streak during his junior career.
• Won the USTA National Open in Waco, Texas on Feb. 27, 2012
• Advanced to the finals of the USTA National Clay Court Championships in Delray Beach, Fla., on July 22, 2012.
• Lived in six different states during his junior career … spent two years boarding at Advantage Tennis Academy in Irvine, Calif., before signing with UT on Nov. 15, 2012.
