AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-10)
• joined the Longhorns in January 2010 and posted a 19-6 singles record, all in dual matches, including a 4-2 mark in Big 12 play
• totaled a 20-5 overall doubles record
• defeated UTSA[apos]s Martin Ayala by a 7-6 (6), 6-2 count in Texas[apos] 4-0 win over the Roadrunners in the round of 64 at the NCAA Championships
• posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Texas A&M[apos]s Alexis Klegou in UT[apos]s 4-3 victory over the Aggies in the finals of the Big 12 Championship
• defeated Texas Tech[apos]s Andre Stabile by a 6-3, 6-3 count in UT[apos]s 4-0 victory over the Red Raiders in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championship
• knocked off Texas A&M[apos]s Alexey Grigorov by a 6-4, 6-3 count in Texas[apos] 7-0 victory over the Aggies that clinched a share of the Big 12 regular season title for the Longhorns
• rallied for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 win over Texas Tech[apos]s Andre Stabile in Texas[apos] 4-3 win at Texas Tech
• swept a pair of weekend conference matches against Oklahoma State[apos]s Ilia Martinowski and Oklahoma[apos]s David Pultr
• defeated Duke[apos]s Torsten Wietoska 6-2, 7-6 (5) in the Horns[apos] 5-2 victory on the Blue Devils[apos] home courts
• defeated USC[apos]s Peter Lucassen 6-3, 7-5 in Texas[apos] 4-2 win over No. 1 USC in the quarterfinals of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship
• helped Texas to a 4-0 win over ninth-seeded Stanford in the opening round of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship with a 6-3, 6-2 win over the Cardinal[apos]s Richard Wire
• defeated Texas A&M[apos]s Alberto Bautista by a 6-3, 6-4 count in UT[apos]s 4-3 win over the Aggies at the Texas Cup in Houston
• victorious in his first collegiate match, as he defeated Middle Tennessee State[apos]s Matthew Langley by a 6-3, 6-1 count
