In addition, 2009 Outdoor World Championship 400m hurdle finalist Dai Greene claimed silver in the 4x400m in Berlin. Furthermore, Dalton was instrumental as Travel coach for Lolo Jones during her 2011 Indoor World Championship 60m hurdle Gold medal winning season.
Dalton also served as a kinesiology instructor at Louisiana State University during the time between finishing his graduate degree and beginning at the University of Texas. The University of Bath graduate also saw his share of success as an athlete. He played rugby and ran track for the University of Bath. He ran the 400m and was on the 4x400m relay team that earned a bronze medal at the Saudi-British Sports Co-operation fun. He was selected for the Canadian Indoor Tour in both events as well.
A native of England, he received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Bath and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from LSU. Dalton is IAAF Level V and USATF Level II certified in sprints and hurdles.
