Logged 60 minutes of playing time over three matches for the Longhorns during the season: a season-high 32 min. vs. Nevada (Aug. 31), 18 min. at Texas A&M-CC (Sept. 5) and 10 min. vs. Montana (Sept. 7) … Was credited with single shots on goal in wins over Nevada and Texas A&M-CC.

Played club soccer for Pride SC since she was seven years of age … Was a member of Predators 96 from U11-U18, coached by Sian Hudson and Jay Rayner, and the Colorado Rush U18 ECNL … Was a four-time team captain of Predators 96 … Was a four-time Colorado state champion (U13, U14, U16 and U17) and two-time State Cup Championship MVP (U13 and U16) … Geiger was a member of the CO 95 Region IV Olympic Development Program (ODP) team from 2008-12.
HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year starter for head coach Gregg Braha at St. Mary’s H.S. … Student government senior class president and was a founding member of the St. Mary’s H.S. Students for Life club … Started as a freshman at Cheyenne Mountain HS for head coach Scott Johnson … Her team advanced to the 2011 4A state quarterfinals and won the Colorado Springs Metro League title while Geiger ranked second on the team in scoring and earned the “Outstanding Attacker” award … Transferred to St. Mary’s following her freshman year, helping her new squad to state semifinal berths in 2012 & 2014 … Was named all-league first team and Gazette All-Area in 2014 as a senior after scoring 15 goals and dishing 16 assists. Was a standout in the classroom, earning a pair of academic all-state nods, four academic letters and membership in both the National Honor Society (2011-2014) and the Spanish National Honor Society (2011-2014).
PERSONAL
Born on November 24, 1995, to parents Scott and Angie Geiger …Is majoring in international relations and global studies at Texas in hopes of participating in some form of mission work that involves traveling and serving others ... During the summer of 2015, Geiger spent a month in Calcutta, India, serving with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity … Chose Texas over programs including Colorado College, Pepperdine, the Air Force Academy and Boston University.
