Williams notches career-high six saves in 1-0 defeat
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The University of Texas soccer team fell to rival Texas A&M, 1-0, Thursday evening at Ellis Field.
Goalkeeper Kendell Williams posted a career-high six saves, but the Aggies (4-5-3, 1-4 SEC) delivered a highlight-reel worthy strike in the second half to squeak past the Longhorns (3-8-1, 1-4 SEC).

The Longhorns put Texas A&M under heavy pressure the rest of the way, mounting six shots in the final 10 minutes.
In net, Maysen Veronda recorded the Aggies' fourth clean sheet of the season.
Up next, Texas returns home to host Florida on Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
