2023-24 (Sophomore):
OUTDOOR: Threw for two personal bests at the Texas Relays, taking the Texas program record in the hammer with his throw of 73.11m (239-10) and throwing for 59.19m (194-2) in the discus... Won both the discus (58.64m / 192-5) and the hammer (70.49m / 231-3) at the Cameron Burrell Alumni Invite... Won the discus event at the Mt. SAC Relays with a throw of 58.87m (193-2) and was sixth in the hammer at 70.62m (231-8)... Recorded a personal best in discus at the Texas Invitational with his throw of 59.42m and threw for 67.17m in the hammer....
INDOOR: Won the weight throw competition at the Rod McCravy Memorial meet with a throw of 20.47m (67-2)... Finished first at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invite in weight throw with a throw of 21.45m (70-4.5), the No. 8 throw in UT history... Finished third with a throw of 21.20m (69-6.75) at the NM Collegiate Classic... Was the runner-up in the weight throw at the Eagle Invite with his throw of 21.31m (69-11)... Became the first Texas weight throw Big 12 Champion with his personal best throw of 22.79m... Finished ninth in his first NCAA Indoor Championship in weight throw with his mark of 22.19m (72-9.75).
2022-23 (Freshman):
OUTDOOR: Threw the hammer at the Longhorn Invitational and recorded a mark of 62.10m (203-9)... Set PBs in both the discus (54.88m / 180-1) and the hammer (65.03m/213-4) the latter making him the No. 2 performer in Texas history... Broke the program record in the hammer throw with a heave of 69.65m (228-6) and finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 57.17m (187-7) at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays...Added two top-6 performances at the Tom Jones Memorial, finishing fifth in the hammer throw with a mark f 65.71m (215-7) and sixth in the discus at 53.06m (177-0).... Won the hammer throw at the Texas Invitational with the No. 4 performance in UT history at 68.63m (225-2) and finished third in the discus with a throw of 56.17m (184-3).... Won the Big 12 Championships hammer throw with a throw of 69.56m (228-02) - the second-best mark in UT History - and finished eighth in the discus with a throw of 52.34m (171-9)... Reached the NCAA West Prelims in both the hammer throw (66.42m / 217-11) and the discus (56.86m /186-6)... Finished with a personal-best throw of 57.94m (190-1) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and finished 15th.
INDOOR: In his collegiate debut, finished second in the weight throw and became the No. 3 performer/No. 16 performance in UT history with his throw of 20.38m (66-10.5) at the Cardinal Classic...Improved his personal-best in the weight throw to 20.84m (68-4.5) at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invitational to finish fourth...Set another PB in the weight throw with a toss of 21.09m (69-2.5) to finish fourth at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic... Recorded the 12th-best throw in UT history in weight at 20.97m (68-9.75) at the Tiger Paw Invite... Was the weight throw runner-up at the Big 12 Championships with his throw of 21.72m (71-3.25), improving his No. 3 performer mark on the Texas All-Time list... He ended the season setting a PB in all but one meet.
Prior to Texas: Was a three-time outdoor Track and Field National Champion (2021 USATF Junior Olympic Discus Champion and 2022 Nike Nationals hammer and discus champion)... Was a two-time Washington state Gatorade Performer of the Year in 2020 and 2022... Washington State High School Discus Record Holder at (207'4")... Was the alternate on the USA U20 Team in 2022 in the discus... Earned AP Scholar distinction in 2022... Was the US Presidential Scholars Semifinalist... Co-Valedictorian of his high school class and was part of the High Honor Roll, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA all four years of high school... Son of Heidi Haslinger Corl.
