OUTDOOR: Opened the outdoor season finishing second at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in the shot put with a throw of 17.10m (56-1.25)... Finished fourth in the shot put at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational with a throw of 16.72m (54-10.25)... Won the Texas Invitational with a heave of 17.07m (56-0) in the shot put... Was the 2023 Big 12 Outdoor Championships shot put runner-up with her throw of 17.31m (56-9.5)... Threw a personal best at the NCAA West Prelims in the shout put at 18.14m (59-6.25) to qualify for the NCAA Championships.... Climbed the Texas all-time list to No. 5 in the shot put with a throw of 16.93m (55-6.50) to finish fourth at the Texas Relays... Improved her Texas No. 4 all-time mark in the shot put at 17.28m (56-8.50) and was the lone competitor to throw over 15.50 meters in the dual meet against Texas A&M... Finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 16.69m(54-9.25) at the Mt. SAC Relays... Finished third in the shot put at the LSU Invitational with a throw of 17.11m (56-1.75)… Finished third in the shot put (17.20m) at the Big 12 Championships… Qualified for her first NCAAs in the shot put with a throw of 17.04m at West Prelims..Finished 11th at her first NCAA Outdoor Championships in the shot put with a throw of 17.07m...
INDOOR: Competed in both the shot put and weight throw at the Clemson Invitational, recording a personal-best mark in the weight throw at 16.78m (55'0.75") and finished fifth in shot at 15.12m (49'7.25")... Won the shot put event at the Red Raider Open with a toss of 16.07m (52'8.75") and finished eighth in the weight throw... Registered a throw of 14.84m (48-8.25) in the shot put at the Tiger Paw Invite.
2020-21 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Opened the outdoor campaign with a second-place finish in the shot put at the Longhorn Invitational with a throw of 15.43m/50-7.5... Threw a personal-best mark in the discus at 35.43m/115-11 and a mark of 15.23m/49-11.75 at the Texas Relays... Registered a personal-best throw in the shot put in the dual meet against Texas A&M at 16.21m/53-2.25... Finished fourth at the Michael Johnson Invitational in shot put at 15.48m/50-9.5... Competed at the LSU Gold Alumni meet in shot put and finished with a mark of 15.26m/50-0.75... Added a second-place finish to her name at the Texas Invitational in shot put with a mark of 15.48m/50-9.5... Finished ninth at the Big 12 Championships in shot put with her throw of 15.52m/50-11... Earned a spot at the NCAA West Prelims in the shot put and finished with her mark of 14.65m/48-0.75.
INDOOR: Started off the season with a third-place finish in the shot put at the Corky Classic in the shot put with her mark of 14.12m/46-4... Followed up with another third-place finish at the Wooo Pig Classic with a mark of 14.98m/49-1.75 in shot... Added her third straight third-place finish in shot at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a throw of 14.76m/48-5.25... Competed at the Tyson Invitational and finished with a mark of 15.33m/50-3.5... Scored at the Big 12 Championships with a seventh-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 15.49m/50-10.
2019-20 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Competed four times … made her collegiate debut in the shot put and weight throw at the Leonard Hilton Invitational in January … placed 12th in the shot put at the Razorback Invitational at 13.77m/45-2.25 … threw the shot put 13.42m/44-0.5 at the Tiger Paw Invitational .. scored at the Big 12 Championships with a seventh-place finish in the shot put … threw the orb a collegiate-best 14.80m/48-6.75.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Cornelius and Mercy Nwora … has one brother, Franklin, and three sisters, Lillian, Emma and Princess … Lillian runs track at Rice … lettered three times in track, twice in volleyball and once in softball at The Kinkaid School … admires Texas legend Michelle Carter … she and her siblings are first-generation Nigerian-Americans … majoring in nutrition pre-med … enjoys photography, music and dancing … is fluent in Spanish.
