INDOOR: Opened the season at the Commonwealth College Opener and finished second in high jump clearing 1.80m (5-10.75)... Finished third in high jump at the Rod McCravy Memorial meet after clearing 1.78 (5-10)... Won the Dr. MLK Jr. Invite in high jump with a PB jump of 1.82m (5-11.5)... 2020-21 (Freshman):
OUTDOOR: Finished second in the high jump at the Longhorn Invitational with a mark of 1.71m... Competed at the UTSA Invitational in the high jump finishing third at 1.61m... Competed at the Texas Relays finishing ninth with her mark of 1.66m in the high jump... Recorded a personal-best in the high jump at 1.73m in the dual meet against Texas A&M... At 1.68m, finished third at the Texas Invitational... Finished 10th at the Big 12 Championships with a mark of 1.66m.
INDOOR: Debuted for the Longhorns in the high jump with a mark of 1.63m at the Texas Tech Corky Classic to finish third... Improved her collegiate mark to 1.69m in the high jump at the Wooo Pig Classic... Finished fifth in the high jump at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a mark of 1.70m... Recorded a mark of 1.62m in the high jump at the Tyson Invitational... Competed in her first conference meet in the high jump and finished 11th with a mark of 1.67m.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four times in volleyball and track … also lettered in basketball as a sophomore … set personal bests of 5-7.5 in the high jump, 14.5 in the 100m hurdles and 45.9 in the 300m hurdles … was the MVP of her track team all four years of high school … earned Newcomer of the Year honors as a freshman and Defensive MVP honors as a sophomore in basketball … named Offensive MVP as a freshman and Defensive MVP as a sophomore in volleyball … earned All-Around MVP recognition as a senior in volleyball.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Donna and Eddie Tomlinson … has two brothers, Luke and Mark James, and three sisters, Kealie, Megan and Bethany … both of her brothers attended UT … was born in Abilene, Texas … started track in sixth grade at age 11 … wants to pursue a career in dermatology … enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking and helping take care of the family’s Longhorns … also enjoys arts and ceramics.
