OUTDOOR: Began the outdoor season at the Texas Relays and ran the first leg of the 4x800 relay that finished third with a time of 7:33.88 and ran the 800-meter on the winning sprint medley relay that finished in 3:15.03... Posted two top-collegiate finishes in both the 800m (1:46.18) and the 1500m (3:44.50) at the Mt. SAC Relays, finishing fourth overall in both... Won the 800-meter at the Texas Invitational with his time of 1:48.05...
INDOOR: Opened his season setting the NCAA and Texas record in the 1,000m with his time of 2:18.10 at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invite... Ran the NCAA-leading 800m in 1:46.47 at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invite... Ran the 400m in 48.56 at the NM Collegiate Classic... Won the 600m at the Eagle Invite with a time of 1:16.40 and ran the 800m in the DMR that finished in 9:41.92... Won the 1,000-meter race at the Big 12 Championships with his time of 2:22.40, winning his eighth Big 12 title... Competed in the prelims of the 800m at the NCAA Indoor Championships and finished 10th with his time of 1:47.87...
2022-2023 (Junior)
OUTDOOR: Was fourth in the 800m at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays finishing with a time of 1:46.83 and helped the Longhorns finish second in the SMR running the 800m and finished with a time of 3:14.81...Ran the 400m at the Tom Jones Memorial and finished with a time of 49.16... Won the Texas Invitational 1500m with his time of 3:47.77... Won his third-straight 800m title with a time of 1:45.82... Was the NCAA 800m runner-up with his PB time of 1:45.74.
INDOOR: Finished fourth in the Commonwealth College Opener in the 500m dash with a time of 1:02.91... Competed in the 200 (22.84) and the 400 (49.12) at the Cardinal Classic... Ran personal bests in both the 400 (48.22) and the 600 (1:15.79) at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invitational... Ran the second-fastest time in Texas history in the 800 with his time of 1:46.62 to win the NM Collegiate Classic... Ran the 400 in 48.71 at the Tiger Paw Invite... Was the 1000m Big 12 Champion with his PB time of 1:08.00 - the third-fastest time in Texas history - and helped the Texas DMR finish fourth with a time of 9:51.19... Became the second ever Longhorn to win the 800m NCAA title with his time of 1:46.02 and set the new Texas program record.
2021-2022 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Finished fourth in the 800m at the Texas Relays with a time of 1:47.19. Ran the opening leg of the men’s winning 4xmile at Penn Relays that ran a time of 17:17.45 – the third ever time in Texas history…. Competed in the 1500m at the Oregon Twilight… Back-to-back Big 12 Outdoor 800m Champion and finished sixth in the 1500m while helping Texas to a team title… Competed in the 800m at the NCAA West Prelims and advanced to the Championships... Finished ninth in the 800m dash at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
INDOOR: Opened the season at the Clemson Invitational and helped Texas run the NCAA-leading DMR time of 9:37.58, which also broke Clemson's facility record...Finished second to teammate Crayton Carrozza in the 800m at the Red Raider Open that was No. 5 in the NCAA at 1:48.75... Finished with the top-collegiate time in the 800m Elite Run at the Camel City Invitational with a time of 1:50.65... Scored 18 points for the men's team at the Big 12 Championships after defending his mile title with a time of 3:59.85 and finished second in the men's 800m with a time of 1:47.78... Helped Texas to its first NCAA Team Title... Finished fourth in the men's 800m at the NCAA Indoor Championships with his time of 1:48.09.
Cross Country: Competed in his first cross country race of his career at the Big 12 Championships and was the sixth Longhorn to finish the 8K with his time of 25:33.4 to help Texas to a third-place finish for the fourth time this season...
2020-2021 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Won the Texas Relays 5000m with a personal-best time of 14:12.70... Won the 800m at the dual meet against Texas A&M with his time of 1:49.93... Won the 1500m at the Michael Johnson Invitational with his time of 3:42.90... Scored 20 points at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, winning the 800m (1:46.84) and the 1500m (3:44.87)... Finished seventh at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 800m with his personal-best time of 1:46.76.
INDOOR: Began his collegiate career at the Tyson Invitational running a personal-best time in the mile at 3:57.81 to finish second and claim the Texas program record and helped the DMR team win the event with a time of 9:33.37... Scored 18 points in his first conference meet, winning the men's mile with a time of 4:05.44 and finished second in the 800m with a time of 1:48.49... Finished eighth to earn First Team All-America honors in the men's mile at the NCAA Indoor Championships with his time of 3:59.55.
• Picked up four wins in the 800-meter dash during the 2020 season … won his most recent outing with a personal-best 1:46.93 at the BMC Gold Standard in September … also won at the Bromley Twilight Meet, the BMC Gold Standard Races in August and in the second heat of the Muller British Championships … finished third in the 800-meter final at the Muller British Championships.
