Went 3-3 with Noa Sonneville at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic at position five with victories over #16 Hawai'i (2-0), #9 Cal (2-0), and #7 LMU (2-1) ... Teamed with Lily Davis at the MPSF Mid-Season Rumble to record a 3-1 record, posting two-set wins over #18 Washington and #16 Oregon in position four and Grandy Canyon in position five, falling to #1 Stanford 0-2 in postion four ... Defeated #13 Hawai'i 2-0 with Chloe Charles in position four at the East Meets West Invitational, before falling to #1 UCLA, 1-2 ... At the Death Volley Invitational, joined Ella Keevan to defeat #12 LSU 2-0 at No. 4, then went 1-2 with Devin Kahahawai at third position, topping #16 Arizona State, before falling to #9 Cal and #16 Grand Canyon ... Went 1-2 with Savannah Thomas at the Texas Invitational (0-1 at No. 3, 0-1 at No. 4, 1-0 at No. 5), falling to #1 UCLA and #10 Long Beach State before defeating #3 USC ... Teamed with Devin Kahahawai at the Longhorn Showdown to go 3-0 with two wins over Tulane at No. 5 and a victory over Houston Chrisitan at No. 4 ... Collected two wins with Karin Zolnercikova at the Lone Star Classic, defeating UTEP at No. 4 and Houston Christian at No. 3 ... Named to the MPSF All-Tournament Team after winning all four matches at No. 5 with Karin Zolnercikova, serving as the winning dual in the opening round against Grand Canyon and the championship against #1 UCLA, adding wins against USC and another versus UCLA ... At the NCAA Championships, was leading the match at No. 5 with Zolnercikova against Georgia State (21-13, 19-14) when it was abandoned with Texas' 3-0 victory ... Fell in two sets with Zolnercikova at No. 5 against UCLA (21-15, 28-26) in the NCAA Championships semifinals ... Attended Westlake High School for four years…played one year of indoor volleyball earning a varsity letter as outside hitter/defensive specialist…played club with AJV Sand…was a finalist at AVP Championship in Hermosa (2021)…placed 3rd at U20 World Championships (2021)…was a finalist at P1440 Southwest Championships and received Best of Texas recognition for Best Blocker (2020)…a finalist in 2019 at AVP Austin Open 18U division, AAU National Championships, and USAV NDTP Championships…played on the USA Volleyball HP NDTP A1 Team - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Dave and Chrissy Butler…has two brothers, Jake and Luke, and one sister Emerson…father, Dave, played basketball at California and was inducted into the Cal Hall of Fame in 2011 and to the PAC 12 Hall of Honor in 2014…he was drafted by the Boston Celtics, then played professionally overseas…uncle, Greg Butler, played basketball at Stanford, and played in the NBA for both the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
