Served as a manager for the 2014-15 season before joining the team as a walk-on in February of 2015. As a transfer, has two remaining years of eligibility entering the 2015-16 season.
BEFORE TEXAS
• Competed at Colorado State for two seasons (2012-14) … saw action in 43 games, totaling 45 points and 44 rebounds in 386 minutes … has a career 73.9 free throw percentage (17-23 FT).
• Holds career highs of 11 points against Toledo (Nov. 20, 2012), and five assists against South Dakota Mines (Jan. 4, 2013) … lone start during her time at Colorado State was at Tulsa (Dec. 8, 2012).
HIGH SCHOOL
• Four-year letterwinner at Georgetown High School under coach Rhonda Farney.
• Helped guide the Lady Eagles to the finals of the UIL Class 5A state title game in 2011 and a No. 9 ranking in the state in 2012.
• Two-time Class 5A All-State honoree by the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) … Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) all-region, first team All-Central Texas, first team all-district.
• Finished in the top-10 in seven career categories at Georgetown High School, including fifth in scoring (1,297).
• During her senior campaign in 2011-12, she was named team MVP, leading the Eagles in scoring (13.2 ppg), assists (3.9 apg), steals (2.3 spg), and was second in rebounding (5.6 rpg).
• Rotary Scholar and member of the National Honor Society … graduated in the top five percent of her class ... named academic all-state and all-district.
• Also competed in track & field her freshman and sophomore years.

• Born Emily Catherine Johnson on April 23, 1994 in Austin, Texas.
• Parents are Dave and Debbie Johnson … has one brother, Eric, and one sister, Amanda.
• Mother, Debbie (Riverkamp), played basketball at The University of Texas during the 1983-84 season.
• Sister, Amanda, will play basketball for Houston Baptist starting in the 2015-16 season.
