2014-15 (SOPHOMORE)
• Played in 18 games, averaging 5.4 points on 50 percent shooting from the field (39-78 FG) in 11.6 minutes per game ... missed the last 13 games of the season after suffering a season-ending knee injury at K-State (Feb. 4)
• Registered nine points (3-6 FG, 3-3 FT) and three rebounds in 10 minutes played against Iowa State (Jan. 25).
• Grabbed two rebounds and one assist in nine minutes at No. 3/3 Baylor (Jan. 19).
• Totaled 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-5 FT) and one rebound in 15 minutes against Texas Tech (Jan. 17).
• Notched a season-high 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3FG), three rebounds and one steal in 16 minutes at Iowa State (Jan. 10).
• Recorded eight points (3-3 FG, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes against West Virginia (Jan. 07).

2013-14 (FRESHMAN)
• Played in 25 games with one start … averaged 10.5 minutes per game.
• Per 40 minutes, averaged 23.8 points on 52.7 percent shooting and 10.1 rebounds.
• Led the team with a 52.7 field goal percentage (59-112 FG) … shot 46.5 percent from 3-point range (20-43 3FG) -- a team-high when calculating a minimum of 40 3-point field goal attempts.
• Tallied six games with double-figure points, adding four games with nine points … in the six games with double-figure points, she averaged just 13.3 minutes per game.
• Did not play in the first nine contests of the season due to injury (foot).
• Made her collegiate debut against Sam Houston State (Dec. 15), recording two points and two rebounds in six minutes.
• Scored a season-high 15 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 3FG) with four rebounds in 11 minutes against Northwestern State (Dec. 20).
• Scored 11 points (5-10 FG) with five rebounds and two assists in 12 minutes against Idaho (Dec. 28).
• Made her first career start against Kansas (Jan. 15), finishing with nine points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3FG) in 13 minutes.
• Notched 11 points (5-7 FG) in 11 minutes against West Virginia (Jan. 25).
• Grabbed a season-high seven rebounds in nine minutes at Kansas (Jan. 28).
• Scored 11 points (3-4 FG, 3-5 FT) in 14 minutes at Baylor (Feb. 1).
• Posted nine points (4-5 FG) at K-State (Feb. 12).
• Scored nine points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3FG), all in the second half, with six rebounds in 17 minutes against Baylor (Feb. 16).
• Scored nine points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3FG) with six rebounds in 10 minutes at Oklahoma (Feb. 19).
• Reached 14 points in two postseason games … the first was on 5-of-7 shooting in 19 minutes against West Virginia (March 9) in the Big 12 Championship semifinals … the second was on 5-of-6 shooting against Penn (March 23) in the NCAA Championship First Round.
TEXAS TRACK & FIELD
• Top shot put thrower for the Texas Track & Field team during her freshman year in 2014 … placed ninth in shot put at the Big 12 Championships (May 17) with a personal-best distance of 47-10.50 (14.59m).
BEFORE TEXAS
• Played at Ozen High School in Beaumont, Texas under coach Tammy Walker-Brown.
• Ranked as the No. 58 overall recruit in the class of 2013, according to ESPN.com.
• Named to the 4A All-State Team as a sophomore, junior and senior by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
• 2013 McDonald's All-American nominee.
• As a junior, led Ozen to a 34-1 record and the 4A Region III championship game … named to the 20-4A All-District First Team … averaged 11 points, nine rebounds and eight assists per game.
• Also excelled in track & field at Ozen HS … threw the discus and shot put … finished second in both events at the 2012 UIL Track & Field State Meet … earned a gold medal in the shot put at the 2013 Texas Relays.
• Played club ball for Texas Preps Elite, with current Texas teammate Kelsey Lang, under head coach Adrian Washington.

• Has not declared a major … interested in coaching and teaching after graduation.
PERSONAL
• Born Nekia Kiana Jones on Jan. 9, 1995 in Beaumont, Texas.
• Daughter of Deneka Roberts … has two younger sisters, Ciceley and Courtnee.
• Cousin, Walter Davis, was the 2002 SEC Male Athlete of the Year at LSU and competed in the long jump at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
