AS A FRESHMAN (2023)
- Rowed at two-seat in the Third Varsity 4+ exhibition victory (7:30.468) at the Big 12 Championship.
Before Texas
A three-time first-team All-Region swimmer (2020-22) at Cinco Ranch High School … also competed in track & field for the Cougars … was an Academic All-State selection in both swimming and track & field.
Why Texas?
“The excitement and ‘game day’ atmosphere combined with the rigor and focus of the academics made Texas an opportunity too good not to take.”
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“I started rowing because I wanted to be a part of a close group. I have found this team is particularly special because it has a culture of competition but not at the expense of camaraderie.”
Personal
- Parents are Ginny and Tim Ebben
- Has two younger siblings, Henry and Lucy
- Father rowed at Georgetown in the lightweight eight and mother played basketball at Fordham (1986-87) and rowed at Fordham (1987-88)
- Began rowing at the age of 19
- Majoring in biology
- Enjoys reading Stephen King novels, sitting in bed, and watching anything on Netflix that will makes her laugh
