Managed a career-high eight goals, nine assists and 25 points while starting all 20 matches, playing 1,690 minutes and registering a team-high 76 shots (32 on goal) ... Tallied points in three consecutive matches on two occasions from Sept. 22-29 and Sept. 6-13 and scored goals in three straight contests from Sept. 6-13 ... Dished a pair of assists in the 3-2 (2OT) win at Oklahoma (Oct. 31) ... Scored single goals during back-to-back matches at Baylor (Oct. 18) and versus Iowa State (Oct. 25) with the score against the Cyclones serving as the match-winner ... One of five Longhorns to start all 21 matches, earning 1,535 minutes of playing time with six goals and three assists on a team-high 62 shots (21 on frame) ... Made it two straight contests with a goal by finding the net from 19 yards at 83:21 to finish off a 4-0 rout of Kansas State (Oct. 21) ... Sealed a 2-0 victory over Kansas (Oct. 19) by volleying home an Alexa Adams cross at 85:08 ... Scored off a deflection 18:06 into the match to give Texas an early lead in an eventual 2-1 loss at No. 16 West Virginia (Oct. 7) ... Assisted on Katie Glenn’s 27th-minute match-tying goal in an eventual 3-2 “Red River Showdown” win over Oklahoma (Oct. 12) ... Fired three shots (team-high two on goal) in the 2-1 (OT) win over Baylor (Sept. 21) ... Dished a career-high two assists during the 3-0 victory over Northern Colorado (Sept. 16) ... Opened the scoring at 54:51 of the 2-1 win over UTRGV (Sept. 14) with a goal inside the left post ... Scored off a deflection of an Alexa Adams shot from eight yards out near the left post in the 4-0 rout of Houston Baptist (Sept. 9) ... FRESHMAN (2017)
Tallied six goals, four assists and 16 points (42 shots, 20 on goal), while starting 19 of 21 matches and playing 1,627 total minutes ... Made 64 minutes count, in her first career NCAA contest against North Texas (Nov. 10), by assisting on the match-winner and scoring a goal at 28:19 for three total points as the Horns prevailed, 3-0 ... Managed a beautiful through ball up the middle for an assist on Katie Glenn’s goal during the 2-1 (OT) loss to Baylor (Nov. 1) in the Big 12 Championship Quarterfinal ... Blasted a 17-yard shot off the underside of the crossbar and in for her first career “golden goal” to beat Kansas State (Oct. 15) on the road, 1-0 (OT) ... Got the Horns off to a quick start in the 3-2 (2OT) win over Texas Tech (Sept. 29) by scoring from 15 yards out at 18:53 ... Wasted no time making her presence felt during her first Big 12 match by scoring the winning goal at 49:14 to knock off Iowa State (Sept. 22), 1-0 ... Launched a career-high seven shots, two on frame, over 97 minutes during the 1-0 (OT) win over UTRGV (Sept. 15) ... Managed her first career two-assist game in helping power Texas to a 3-0 rout of No. 25 Colorado (Sept. 8) ... Registered her first career match-winning goal against Little Rock (Aug. 25) by working a perfect give-and-go with former club teammate Hintzen before scoring from nine yards out at 52:35 ... Got her collegiate career off to about the quickest start imaginable by scoring her first Texas goal just 25 seconds into the 2-1, season-opening victory over Rice (Aug. 18).
INTERNATIONAL
The Celina, Texas, native has been a part of the United States Under-19 National Team roster, participating in a training camp in Sunrise, Fla., from Jan. 28-Feb. 4, 2017 … As a member of the U.S. Under-18 National Team, Berg earned three caps during the 2016 Women’s International Cup in Northern Ireland during October in a 2-1 loss to England, a 3-1 victory over France and a 3-0 shutout of host Northern Ireland … At a U.S. Under-18 July training camp at St. George’s Park in England (July 6-15, 2016), Berg dished an assist on Team USA’s opening goal as the Red, White & Blue tied England (2-2) on July 14 … She also previously participated in a U.S. Under-15 National Team Camp from May 4-11, 2013, and was included among the invitees for the 2016 ECNL/id2 National Training Camp from July 28-Aug. 1, 2016, in Portland, Ore.
CLUB
Berg has been a part of teams that secured eight Kick-It or Disney 3v3 World Championship titles as well as a World FC/Disney Futsal World Championship … One of the ECNL’s top overall scorers over the last six years, despite often playing in divisions as much as three years above her age, Berg completed the 2016 campaign for her Solar Chelsea FC club squad with 37 total goals.
HIGH SCHOOL
Listed as the No. 2 prospect in Texas, the No. 11 overall midfielder prospect and the No. 27 national prospect in the Final Spring 2017 Girls IMG Academy National Top 150 rankings by Top Drawer Soccer, Berg ventures to the Forty Acres with a decorated resume in tow … In just one season of high school soccer for a first-year start-up program at Celina H.S., Berg earned 2016 TeamSnap Winter All-America First Team and Texas-North All-Region accolades after registering a Dallas-area best 64 goals and 17 assists over just 15 total matches...Followed that up by earning another TeamSnap Winter All-America First Team honor after a 45-goal 2017 campaign at Celina (105 total goals in just two H.S. seasons).
PERSONAL
Born on September 23, 1998 ... Parents are Larry and Lynda Berg … Has three siblings, Cason, Caden and Rhyann … Chose Texas over a list of schools that included Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Colorado, Duke, Pepperdine and Tennessee … Cites going to England with the U.S. Under-18 National Team as her greatest personal athletic achievement to date.
