Why Texas?
"Who wouldn’t choose here? Because of the incredible opportunities, resources, and legacy that Texas has to offer as a program, in the classroom, and on the campus. I’m so proud and excited to become a Longhorn."
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
"I used to be a competitive swimmer, so when a lot of pools shut down due to COVID-19, I turned to a new form of exercise to continue my training. My family soon moved across the country to Tennessee where my new school was on a river and had a rowing team that was enthusiastic to have me try out. I stayed with it ever since because of the thrilling aspects of competition, the constant strive for greatness and improvement, and the hard work individually and as a team that drives it all on."
