Why Texas?
“Texas has always been the most obvious choice for me. My favorite part about being in the heart of Austin is that if you're bored, it is your own fault. The city of Austin is a place of endless opportunities to grow, have fun, and explore. Texas is a place where you can be challenged at the next level academically and athletically. The pride here at UT is contagious among students and alum because there's just nothing else like it, Hook 'Wm forever.”
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“As someone who has always been a part of a team growing up, when the opportunity to row here at Texas proposed itself, I took full advantage of it because there is simply nothing that holds as much grit and beauty simultaneously. What I love about rowing at Texas is getting to spend each morning on Lady Bird Lake with my teammates who have the same determination. I love working hard to get better each and every day with my teammates.”
