On Texas' No. 1 ranking in the BCS: We haven't really had a reaction. We are just continuing to work hard each week concentrating on Oklahoma State. We are just going to go up there and take care of business like we have doing the last few weeks.
It is definitely nice to be 7-0, though. We just have to keep working and know that it has taken hard work and it is going to continue to be hard work. We are just going to take that approach and go with the flow.
On making an impact with the Longhorns: It has definitely been a long time, but it feels great to help the team out and continue to go out and work and help out in practice, on the field or wherever. It has been exciting getting back out there, getting back in football, and taking that next step.
On his comfort level returning to football after four years of professional baseball: It has been a long time. The comfort started coming back at the beginning of the season, but then I got hurt for a little while and it set me back. Now that everything is flowing again, I am starting to feel like a football player again. Four and a half years is a long time not to touch a football. I chose not to play most of the season in baseball so I could come in, start a new position, and see what I can do with it.
On his expectations for his college football career upon returning: I am grateful to come back here and play. I knew I was going to have to come in and work hard, and I really didn't know what was going to come of it. I had not touched a football in a long time, and I know that everyone had high hopes for me. I hope that I can live up to them.
On his 38-yard punt return: Of course, I think I should have scored. But it sparked up our team and our offense and that is just as important as a touchdown. Things started flowing after that, and I will take that any day.
