Logterman, Under-20 National Team drop semifinal match to China

MOSCOW -- The U.S. Under-20 Women's National Soccer Team fell to China in the semifinals of the 2006 FIFA World Soccer Championships on Thursday at Lokomotiv Stadium in Moscow, Russia. The two teams ended regulation in a draw but China prevailed, 5-4, on penalty kicks.
UT sophomore defender Stephanie Logterman (Austin, Texas) started for the fourth time in six games of action during the tournament.
The U.S. will play Brazil for third-place on Sunday, Sept. 3 at 7 a.m. (Central).
