Men's Diving preview: NCAA Zone D Diving Meet

WHAT: The NCAA Zone "D" Diving Meet is one of five regional-diving meets scheduled this weekend to determine the diving qualifiers for the upcoming NCAA Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.

Meet Schedule
Friday, March 14
10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Men's 3-meter; 20 divers
3:00-6:00 p.m. - Women's 1-meter; 35 divers
Saturday, March 15
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Women's 3-meter; 35 divers
3:45 - 6 p.m. - Men's 1-meter; 20 divers
Sunday, March 16
10-11 a.m. - Men's platform
12:30-2 p.m. - Women's platform
WHERE: Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium - Houston, Texas
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: Below is the rank of criteria utilized to determine the qualifiers for the NCAA Championships; the criteria are utilized until five men and eight women are selected. For example, in accordance to the listing below, if women's diver A wins the one-meter, three-meter and platform events, only one bid is taken by that diver, and seven bids still remain available. If three divers win the platform, one-meter and three-meter events, three bids are awarded and five remain. Bids are not subtracted from a zone if one diver wins two or more events; the progression down the list of criteria continues until five male divers and eight female divers are selected.
