POST-TOURNAMENT QUOTES
Head Coach Martha Richards
On the team's overall performance: I thought our first two days here were excellent. To be at 4-under after 36 holes was a display of really good golf. Today was a little more of a struggle for us, though. We just couldn't seem to get anything going. We had a few more mistakes today that caught up with us, and it always seems like mistakes on the last day are harder to recover from. We beat a lot of great teams, though, and I couldn't be more pleased with what we accomplished out here. The only thing separating us from being one of those great teams right now is consistency.
On playing with top-ranked teams in the last two events: Any time this team is allowed to play with the best and see how their games compare, they seem to just feed off of it and play that much better. We've had some good pairings the last two events, and we've stepped up and played well. Big picture, we're putting together some good tournaments. We'll learn from our mistakes today, and one of these days, we're going to pull one of these out.
