INDIVIDUAL NOTES
Emmanuel Acho
- Acho forced two fumbles in the game. It moved his season total to three and career mark to four.
Sam Acho
- Acho recovered his fourth fumble of the season, which is tied for third on the UT single-season list.
Dan Buckner
- Buckner's 3-yard TD catch was his second of the season and the fourth of his career.
- Equaled a career-high with six receptions, tying the mark he set at Wyoming last week.
John Chiles
- Chiles had a career-long 34-yard rush to start the third quarter.
Cody Johnson
- Johnson's TD run was his fourth of the season and the 16th of his career.
Eddie Jones
- Jones' sack was his first of the season and moved his career total to 3.5.
- Jones' forced fumble was the first of his career.
Sergio Kindle
- Kindle's forced fumble was the first of his career.
- Kindle's sack was his first of the season and moved his career total to 11.5.
Colt McCoy
- McCoy moved his career record as a starter to 35-7.
- McCoy has thrown for at least 200 yards in 32 career games, which extends his school record.
- With his fourth-quarter TD pass, McCoy has thrown six TD passes this season and 91 for his career. The 91 career TD passes tied David Klingler for 14th on the Football Bowl Subdivision career list.
- McCoy extended his streak to 20 consecutive games with a TD pass, which passed Major Applewhite (19) for first on UT's all-time list.
Roddrick Muckelroy
- Muckelroy's sack was his first of the season and moved his career total to 4.5.
Tre' Newton
- Newton set career-highs with 20 rushes and 88 rushing yards. His previous bests were eight carries and 62 yards at Wyoming.
- Newton's 19-yard TD run with 11:22 remaining in the third quarter was his second TD run of the season. It was also a career-long for the freshman who had an 18-yard TD run at Wyoming.
Jordan Shipley
- Shipley's 46-yard punt return for a TD was a career-long and his second career punt return for a TD. Shipley's previous career-long was also a TD, a 45-yard punt return against Texas Tech in 2008.
- Shipley passed B.J. Johnson (152 - 2000-03) for fifth place on UT's career reception list with 158.
- Shipley became the fifth player in school history to reach the 2,000-yard plateau for his career, ending the game 2,020.
- Shipley's 11 receptions tied for fifth on UT's single-game list. It marked Shipley's fourth game with 10 or more receptions for his career.
Earl Thomas
- Thomas' interception was his first of the game and the third of his career.
Aaron Williams
- Williams' forced fumble was his second of the season and the third of his career.
Attendance: 101,297. A stadium attendance record and the 55th consecutive sellout at Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
