Texas' 47 points in the first half is the most in a half since taking a 52-0 lead against Kansas on Nov. 12, 2005. It marked the first time UT scored 40 or more points in a first half since scoring 41 against Rice on September 22, 2007.

McCoy joined Peter Gardere and James Brown as the only players in school history to pass for over 1,000 yards in four different seasons.
