TULSA, Okla. -- Sophomore Madison Pressel continues to lead the Texas Women's Golf team at the Dale McNamara Invitational after carding her second even-par 72 in as many days. Pressel's two-round total of 144 places her seventh on the leaderboard. Junior Nicole Vandermade (74-74=148) is four strokes back for 11th place and sophomore Katelyn Sepmoree (76-73) is tied for 12th with a 5-over 149.
Texas (297-302) is tied for fourth place at 23-over 599 and 16 strokes behind 36-hole team leader Oklahoma (292-291=583, +7).
Pressel began her day with a birdie on the par-5 first hole of The Patriot Golf Club and found a second birdie opportunity on the par-4 seventh. After making a bogey on eight, Pressel played at 1-under until making her third birdie on the par-4 14th hole. A double bogey on 16 - a par-5 - resulted in the even finish.
