WACO, Texas - The No. 10 Texas Volleyball team extended its winning streak to five matches with its 3-1 victory at Baylor, Wednesday night at the Ferrell Center. The 25-16, 16-25, 25-15, 25-19 victory improved the Longhorns to 13-4 on the season and 6-1 in Big 12 action, while the Bears dropped to 15-8 overall and 4-4 in league play.

Sophomore outside hitter Bailey Webster joined them in double-digits with 14 kills and sophomore setter Hannah Allison posted an assist/dig double-double with 43 assists and 10 digs.
Texas took a commanding lead early in the first set, putting together an 8-0 run fueled by two kills and a solo block by Webster and a trio of Khat Bell/Hannah Allison blocks to claim an 18-8 edge. Three kills by Adams late in the frame closed out the set for the Horns, 25-16.
The Horns fell behind quickly in the second and failed to respond, allowing a 6-1 Baylor rally that put the Bears in front, 19-12 and a set-ending 4-1 run capped by an Alyssa Dibbern/Torri Campbell block that sealed the set 25-16.
Eckerman's sixth kill of the set allowed the Longhorns to grab a 16-8 lead to open the third. A 5-1 UT run paced by four BU miscues allowed the Horns to claim a 22-13 lead and Eckerman's seventh kill of the set finished out the stanza, 25-15.
The block of Bell and Allison once again got Texas out to a hot start in the fourth with the duo teaming for a pair of blocks to pace a 6-0 run that put the Horns in front 11-4. Texas widened the margin to nine before BU rallied to close the score to 22-17. The Longhorns responded with kills by Eckerman and Adams to wrap up the frame 25-19.
