Andersen, Corrie fall in NCAA doubles draw

STANFORD, Calif. - Texas senior Ed Corrie and junior Jean Andersen suffered a straight-sets defeat and were eliminated from the doubles draw Friday evening at the NCAA Championships.
Corrie and Andersen, college tennis' ninth-ranked doubles duo, fell to Duke's seventh-ranked pair of Henrique Cunha and Reid Carleton by a 6-2, 6-2 count. The Texas tandem was one win away from automatically securing All-America status.
Corrie and Andersen finish the season with a 26-10 overall doubles record.
