- With the their share of the 2011 Big 12 Championship, the Longhorns won their 77th regular-season conference crown. Texas now owns seven Big 12 titles to go with 64 from the Southwest Conference, two from the Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association and four from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
- With a save in the Friday night win over Nebraska, Corey Knebel set the UT freshman single-season save record, besting Huston Street (14 - 2002). His 16 saves rank third on the single-season saves list. The Longhorns' single-season school record of 19 was set by Charlie Thames in 2000 and equaled by J. Brent Cox in 2005.
- Freshman Erich Weiss currently owns a .512 on-base percentage which leads the Big 12 Conference. His current on-base percentage would rank eighth on Texas single-season list and it would rank second all-time among UT freshman behind only Coby Kerlin who posted a .519 on-base percentage in 1985.
