At the 2012 edition of the Mt. SAC Relays, then sophomore Brittany Marches broke the school record in the 3,000m Steeplechase, running a 10:40.45 to best the previous record by 13 seconds. Marches has since bettered her school record twice, most recently at the 86th Texas Relays, where she ran a 10:31.59.
Texas also sent three to compete in the 5,000m. Then sophomore Sara Sutherland led the way for Texas in the Olympic Development Elite division, clocking a 16:10.51 to finish seventh among collegians in the race and 17th overall.
IN THE WEST REGION

Sara Sutherland is ranked 10th with her Texas Relays time of 4:20.48 and Katie Hoaldridge launched herself into the regional qualifying conversation after running a 2:06.81, the 17th-fastest time in the West Region, last Saturday at the Texas Invitational.
