Team USA advances to Pan Am Cup semifinals

CALLAO, PERU -- Former Texas Volleyball player Rachael Adams had six kills as the United States swept Argentina, 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-22), to conclude pool play at the 2013 Senior Women's Pan American Cup. The U.S. advances to the semifinals on Saturday to play a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
Incoming freshman Pilar Victoria Lopez had five kills for Puerto Rico, which recorded a sweep against Trinidad & Tobago. Puerto Rico will play Costa Rica in quarterfinal action on Friday.
