OKLAHOMA CITY - No. 7 national seed Tennessee (52-10) scored a run in the first and added another in the sixth to defeat Texas 2-1 in a Women's College World Series semifinal contest Sunday night. Freshman Lindsey Stephens went one-for-two and hit her first career home run in the seventh inning to cut the Tennessee lead to one run. Taylor Thom, Kim Bruins, Torie Schmidt and Stephanie Ceoalso added hits for Texas. Tennessee's offense was provided by a Lauren Gibson home run and a Lexi Overstreet bases-loaded walk.
