• Texas is coming off three-straight wins, most recently a 3-1 victory over No. 22 Kansas State on Friday. Junior Amy Neal posted her third double-double of the season with 14 kills (on a .321 hitting percentage) and 12 digs. Senior Haley Eckerman added 10 kills, while sophomore Chiaka Ogbogu contributed eight blocks.
• Ogbogu has hit .357 or higher with an average of 8.0 kills per match in the last four games. She leads the Big 12 in hitting percentage and ranks 19th in the NCAA. She is also averaging 6.5 blocks per match in the last four matches, ranks third in the Big 12 and 24th in the NCAA.
• Junior Amy Neal posted her third double-double of the season versus Kansas State with 14 kills and 12 digs. In the last three matches, she has recorded 34 kills and 39 digs.
• As a team, the Longhorns have out-hit all 19 opponents. Kansas State was the first opponent this year to hit higher than .200.
• In their last meeting, the Mountaineers took the Longhorns to five sets. West Virginia won the first two and Texas came from behind and won the match, 3-2 (23-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-7). The match came on the heels of a road trip in which Texas played two matches in six days on the road.
