Men’s Swimming Preview: American Short Course Championships

Three-day meet begins Thursday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
WHAT: UT hosts the American Short Course Championships, a three-day meet featuring collegiate, professional and club swimmers.
The meet serves as a final opportunity for men's collegiate swimmers to qualify for the NCAA Championships set for March 27-29 in Austin. Each swimming event contested at the NCAA Championships will be contested at the American Short Course Championships. Diving events are not held at this meet.
College teams represented in Austin this week include Texas, Missouri, California, Texas A&M, TCU, SMU, Virginia and Wyoming.
