Three freshmen will make collegiate debuts in season opener.
What: Texas (No. 4 Golf Coaches Association of America) begins the 2014-15 season this weekend at the Olympia Fields Country Club/Fighting Illini Invitational. The Longhorns had a runner-up finish in the 2013 OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational.
Where: Olympia Fields Country Club (par 70, 7,142 yards) – Olympia Fields, Ill.
Format: 54 holes over three days (Sept. 12-14)
Tee Times: Play will begin at 9 a.m. Central off Nos. 1 and 10. Texas will be paired with Colorado and Indiana for the first round, teeing off the 10th hole starting at 9 a.m. Second and third-round pairings will be based off team standings.
