BAYLOR SERIES INFO:
• Texas leads, 160-83. Last meeting: Baylor 86-69 (March 14, 2014; Kansas City).
• Saturday's contest marks the 244th meeting between Texas and Baylor.
• Baylor is UT's most common opponent in program history. Texas and Baylor have competed in the same conference since 1915 (Southwest Conference and Big 12). The only season Texas and Baylor did not meet since 1906 was in 1908, when the Longhorns did not field a team.
• UT owns a 160-83 lead in the all-time series, including a 29-8 mark during the Rick Barnes era.
• The Longhorns are 67-48 against the Bears when the teams play in Waco.
• Baylor was UT's first opponent in the program's inaugural 1906 season. The Horns won the first game of the series, 27-17, on March 10, 1906, in Austin. The Longhorns won all four games played against the Bears that season.

• SUCCESS AGAINST BAYLOR UNDER BARNES: The Longhorns enter Saturday's game with a 29-8 record against the Bears during the Rick Barnes era. Texas has won three of the last four meetings in the series.
• EXCELLENT AT THE FREE THROW LINE: Texas is converting 74.1% from the free throw line (tops in the Big 12) on the year, including a 76.8% mark in Big 12 Conference play. The top single-season mark for FT percentage during the Barnes era is 73.6% in 2006-07. Six of UT's current nine-player rotation are hitting at least 77.3% from the line.
• FELIX AND TAYLOR GET OFFENSIVE: Junior guard Javan Felix had a season-high 20 points (7-of-8 FG, 4-of-4 threes) in 29 minutes, while sophomore guard Isaiah Taylor registered 17 points in 33 minutes during Monday's loss at No. 15/16 Iowa State. The duo also combined for 16 assists against just one turnover on the night.
• LONE STAR STATE SUCCESS
Since Rick Barnes arrived in Austin prior to the 1998-99 season, the Longhorns have emerged as the dominant college basketball program in the state of Texas.
The Horns have posted a 145-21 (.873) record against in-state foes during the Barnes era entering Saturday's game in Waco, including marks of 29-8 against Baylor, 31-4 against Texas Tech, 23-7 against Texas A&M and 7-0 against TCU.
