Full name is Isaiah Shaquille Taylor … son of Loretta Perkins and Kenneth Taylor … born July 11, 1994 in Hayward, Calif. … moved to Houston and enrolled at The Village School prior to his junior season … his uncle, Terrell Lowery, played basketball at Loyola Marymount (1989-92) … a sophomore on the 1990 LMU squad that advanced to the “Elite Eight” in the NCAA Tournament, Lowery also played professional baseball, including stints with the Chicago Cubs (1997-98), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (1999) and the San Francisco Giants (2000) … majoring in Physical Culture and Sports and preparing to apply to Sport Management.
