• SUCCESS AGAINST THE COWBOYS UNDER BARNES: Texas enters Saturday's contest with a 23-14 mark against Oklahoma State during the Rick Barnes era. UT has won 12 of the last 17 meetings against the Cowboys.
• BLOCK PARTY: Texas ranks third nationally in blocked shots per game (7.4 bpg) through games of Jan. 6. The Horns have blocked at least seven shots in 11 of their first 15 contests. Four UT players have already reached double figures in blocks, including a team-best 40 from freshman Myles Turner.
• FELIX PROVIDES SPARK OFF THE BENCH: Junior guard Javan Felix has reached double figures in scoring in each of the last five contests, averaging 14.8 ppg in the stretch. He ranks fourth on the team in scoring (10.6 ppg) while hitting 25-of-69 (.362) threes in 26.0 minutes per game.
