• BARNES GOES FOR 400th WIN AT TEXAS: Head coach Rick Barnes enters Tuesday's game with an overall record of 399-174 in 17 seasons at Texas. With a win in Norman, Barnes would become just the eighth active NCAA Div I coach to reach the 400-win milestone at his CURRENT school.
• GETTING DEFENSIVE: During UT's current three-game win streak, the Horns have held their opponents to an average of 47.0 points per game on a combined 31.3% FG shooting (46-of-147). Texas limited Texas Tech to 41 points on 33.3% FG shooting during Saturday's victory.
• TURNER'S CAREER NIGHT: Freshman forward Myles Turner posted a game-high 25 points (one shy of career high), a career-high 12 rebounds and three blocked shots in 30 minutes during Saturday's home win against Texas Tech. It marked both his third double-double and third 20-point performance of the season.
• BARNES REACHES WIN NO. 600: With UT's victory against TCU on Feb. 11, Barnes earned his 600th career collegiate win.
