TEXAS-OKLAHOMA STATE SERIES
• Texas and Oklahoma State will meet for the 41st time on Wednesday (7 p.m. Central, Longhorn Network).
• The Longhorns lead the all-time series with the Cowgirls, 26-15, including a 15-4 mark in Austin.
• Oklahoma State won the first meeting of the season, 66-60, on Feb. 11 in Stillwater. Freshman guard Brooke McCarty scored 21 points on 5-of-9 shooting beyond the arc with six rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes. But the Longhorns turned the ball over 23 times in what was their fourth straight loss. UT hasn't lost since, entering Wednesday on a three-game winning streak.
• Oklahoma State has won four of the last five overall meetings, but Texas has won four of the last five meetings played in Austin.
• Texas and OSU split last season's series, as both teams won on their respective home courts.
• Texas is 1-4 against Oklahoma State under Coach Karen Aston.
• The all-time series dates back to a 80-79 Texas victory on March 11, 1977 in Monroe, La.

• Texas is on a three-game winning streak -- its first winning streak since starting the season 13-0.

JOHNSON ADDED TO THE ROSTER
• Head Coach Karen Aston announced the addition of Emily Johnson to the roster on Monday.
• Johnson, a walk-on guard, joins the team immediately after serving as a student manager for the program since the start of the 2014-15 academic year. The Georgetown, Texas, native played at Colorado State for two seasons (2012-14), totaling 45 points, 44 rebounds, and a .739 free throw percentage (17-23 FT) in 43 games played.
• She will not compete this season due NCAA transfer rules and will have two years of eligibility remaining, starting with the 2015-16 season.
• Johnson is a second-generation Longhorn; her mother, Debbie (Riverkamp) Johnson, walked on under hall-of-fame coach Jody Conradt during the 1983-84 season.
HIGGS A FINALIST FOR NAISMITH TROPHY
• The Atlanta Tipoff Club named Texas signee Lashann Higgs (Round Rock, Texas) as one of five finalists for the Naismith Trophy Girl's High School Player of the Year, presented by Hilton Worldwide.
• The winner will be announced on Thursday, March 12.
McCARTY NAMED BIG 12 FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK, AGAIN
• Freshman guard Brooke McCarty was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week on Monday.
• McCarty has averaged 12.2 points in the last five games.
• McCarty scored 11 points with two steals in 17 minutes in a win over K-State (Feb. 18), and led the Longhorns in scoring with 13 points and six rebounds in 25 minutes at Texas Tech (Feb. 21).
• The League City, Texas, native leads Texas with 34 3-point field goals this season.
LONGHORNS LEAD CONFERENCE IN ACADEMIC ALL-BIG 12 SELECTIONS
• A conference-leading eight Texas student-athletes were named to the 2015 Academic All-Big 12 Conference Women's Basketball Team on Feb. 19.
DEEP BENCH
• 11 Longhorns average more than 10 minutes per game. Texas' bench out-scores its counterpart by an average of 24-to-14.
CRASHING THE BOARDS
• Texas has out-rebounded 25 of 26 opponents this season.
• UT's +10.8 rebounding margin ranks 10th in the nation.
• The Horns are averaging 42.8 rebounds per game and holding opponents to 32.0 boards.
• The Longhorns posted a +23 rebound margin at Kansas (Feb. 14). It marked the third-largest rebound margin this season and largest in a Big 12 contest.

• During its 18 wins this season, Texas has averaged 72.6 points on 44.5 percent shooting from the field.
• During UT's eight losses, the Horns average 59.4 points on 36.4 percent shooting.
