Longhorns conclude weekend road swing at Northwestern
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – No. 10 Michigan knocked off No. 35 Texas (2-4) by a 6-1 count Friday evening at the Wolverines' U-M Varsity Tennis Center.
Michigan claimed the doubles point and the first three singles points before UT's Lina Padegimaite put the Horns on the board by way of a 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (11-9) win over Mira Ruder-Hook at fourth singles.
With four student-athletes available, UT surrendered the singles points at the fifth and sixth singles positions.
Texas concludes its weekend road swing on Sunday when it visits Northwestern. First serve is set for noon Central.
