Tiffany Baker: Day 3 from Hawaii

Junior Tiffany Baker recaps the third day from the Aloha State.
Aloha from Hawaii!
Here is a recap of our third day from the Aloha State:
Today we had practice and then went to do a sand workout with Donnie (Maib). The sand was really hot, so I wore socks.
Then, we went to the North Shore, where the waves were HUGE. I got to watch some of my teammates get knocked over a couple of times—that was funny. Especially Kate (Palladino)—she is so little, she turned around like, "should I do this?" And then went for it.
After North Shore, we went to an all-natural Sno-cone place that was really good. I got a passion fruit and coconut mix—it is special because the syrup they use is made from real fruit. I also bought some guava jam and some coconut pancake mix.
Then we came back to the hotel and showered and Kate, Molly (McCage) and I went to a breakfast restaurant for dinner. I had coconut pancakes—they had coconut bits baked in them AND sprinkled on top. Molly and I were dying—it was so good. There was also coconut syrup!
We also had white steamed rice with a sunny-side up egg on top and Portuguese sausage—also very good. They also had a St. Patrick's Day special—a smoothie with mint chocolate ice cream and whipped cream mixed together.
Today was really fun. It was long, but I had a blast. We got a lot of sun and got to see another part of Hawaii, so that was great. Until tomorrow…
Good Night and Hook 'Em!
